This Father’s Day, The Hits Breakfast with Jono, Ben and Megan are teaming up with Mitre 10 to celebrate the dads who give DIY a go... even if they’re more “measure once, cut three times.”  

We’re on the hunt for New Zealand's Unhandiest Dad – the kind of guy who turns a simple shelf install into a full-blown renovation saga or even the guy that doesn't even try. If your dad (or partner!) is a well-meaning handyman who’s more chaos than construction, we want to hear about it!

• We’ll profile the best entries and narrow it down to the Top 2 Unhandy Dads
• On Friday Morning the finalists face off in a live DIY challenge at Mitre 10 with Jono, Ben and Megan. 
• They’ll be armed with tools, and equipment and zero help. The dad who completes the task within the timeframe will win a $500 Mitre 10 Gift card to finally get the job done right.
