From June 1st to 30th, libraries across Ōtautahi will host a vibrant programme of free, family-friendly events to honour Te Iwa o Matariki – the nine stars of Matariki and Puaka and the Māori New Year.
This year’s theme, Haumanu, Hauora – Rejuvenation and Wellbeing, invites the community to reflect, reset and reconnect. Whether you’re crafting with the kids, learning about Te Maramataka, or enjoying a community kōrero, there’s something for everyone.
